Where the kitesurfing journey goes
Fuerteventura is one of the 7 Canary Islands and is called the Hawaii of Europe. Beautiful sandy beaches with turquoise blue water and plenty of nightlife in Corralejo city centre will make your kitesurfing holiday an unforgettable experience. The name Fuerteventura derives from “Fuerte” and “Viento” and means as much as “strong wind”. Especially the summer months are very windy. Kitesurfers will get their money’s worth on this great island.
The Kitesurf School Fuerteventura
The kitesurf school Fuerteventura of Flag Beach Waterspots Center is located in the tourist resort called Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura. It consists of the Watersports Center, which is located directly on the flag beach of Fuerteventura, and the cozy Sol Y Mar Surfhostel. As already mentioned, the Watersports Center and thus the kitesurf spot are located directly on the white sandy beach with best wind conditions.

Multilingual licensed kitesurfing instructors will accompany you on your first kite trials. The kitesurfing course includes both practice and theory units. Best kitesurfing material is of course included as well as the transfer from your kitesurf hostel to the beach.
Kitesurf lesson:
Day 1:
The first day starts with 1 hour of theory, where your kitesurfing instructor will explain the most important things to you. Afterwards 1 hour of practice with the training kite on the beach. If you want to continue practicing on the beach without your kitesurfing instructor, you will receive the training kite for another 3 hours free of charge!
Day 2:
Now it goes straight into the water! A boat will take you to a convenient point. From there you and your kitesurfing instructor jump into the cool water. You are now practicing what you have learned on land before, but under different conditions. Each exercise is first performed by your kitesurfing instructor before he then hands over the kite to you.
Day 3:
The third day will of course take place again in the water. This day is mainly used for practicing. Of course, your kitesur teacher will correct you and give you one or two insider tips!
