Where the surf trip goes
Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains is a small town on the Atlantic coast of France. It is one of the southernmost surf schools that offers you surfvacationer.com in France. In just 1.5 hours by car you are already in Spain (also Spain offers best surfing conditions – check also our Spain surf camps!)
The village centre itself is easily accessible on foot from the surf school Vieux Boucau and offers everything the surfer’s heart desires: surf shops, surf bars, restaurants and everything else you need. In the various surf bars, all surfers from the surrounding surf camps meet to have a cocktail together and to exchange their surfing experiences. Of course, people also like to dance and celebrate!
The Surf Mecca of France called Hossegor is also just a 25-minute drive away and offers plenty of shopping opportunities including a surf outlet with great prices for the most popular surf brands.
The surf school
Located directly behind the dunes you will find the cool France surf school Vieux Boucau from Planetsurfcamps on the campsite called “Les Sabléres”. So it is only a few steps to the super long sandy beach where you will find the best wave conditions, a real surfer’s paradise! But also all lazy people get their money’s worth here by sunbathing for hours (don’t forget your sun cream!).
The France surf school Vieux Boucau offers a variety of camp activities: beach volleyball, football, table tennis, DVD evenings and especially surfing are just a few notable examples. Every Sunday, in good weather, a wine and cheese evening is offered directly on the beach. French wine and snacks at the most beautiful sunsets in south-west France. What more could you want! In the surf camp there is also a jam session every Tuesday where you can of course sing along (you can of course also bring your own instruments!) In addition, our insider tip: The party tent, where the music is really turned up until the early hours of the morning is for everybody who love to party! But don’t forget, the next day we’re surfing again!
The price also includes YOGA HOURS, which will help you relax all muscle groups after surfing lessons.
You stay in a cool glamping tent with wooden floor. We ask you to bring all sleeping utensils such as sleeping bags, varnishes or pillows! Here you can watch a glamping tent from the inside.
Your surf package also includes healthy and fresh food in the morning and evening. So you have enough energy for your surf sessions on the beach!

Multilingual licensed surf instructors teach you to surf under the best wave conditions. The surf course includes both, practice and theory units. The best surf material is of course included and is available in the surf tent. Both surf beginners and advanced surfers will get their money’s worth!

Shuttle Service
Every Saturday, three times per day, there are shuttles from and to Bordeaux, Biarritz and Dax. The shuttle company is called West Coast Transfers, and you have to book directly with them. At least it has to be booked one week in advance and surfvacationer.com or Planetsurfcamp are not responsible for any delays. Please be at the meeting point about 10 minutes before. It is also possible to book private shuttles on other days of the week, but this is more expensive.
