Where the stand up paddle journey goes
Fuerteventura is one of the 7 Canary Islands and is called the Hawaii of Europe. Beautiful sandy beaches with turquoise blue water and plenty of nightlife in Corralejo city centre will surely make your SUP holiday an unforgettable experience. All Stand up paddle freaks will absolutely get their money’s worth on this great island!
The surf hostel Fuerteventura
For your Fuerteventura SUP course, you can relax in the cosy surf hostel Sol y Mar, which is located directly in the tourist resort called Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura. The Flag Beach Watersports Center and therefore one of the SUP spots (on windless days) are located directly on the white sandy beach. Depending on the weather conditions, your SUP teacher will choose the best spot for stand up paddling. After your stand up paddle Sessions you’ll go back to the Sol and Mar Surfhostel where you’ll chill out with other surfers and get ready for the party nights!

Of course, multilingual licensed surf instructors will accompany you during your 2 days Fuerteventura stand up paddle course. The course includes both practice and theory units. Your SUP- or surf instructor will individually respond to your needs. Best stand up paddle material is of course included as well as the transfer from your surf hostel to the beach and back again.
As the name Fuerteventura implies, especially in the summer months there is a lot of wind (you can also book a windsurfing or kite course, if you are interested just let us know at booking@surfvacationer.com or the online form). Therefore it is possible that you will be taken by boat to the nature protected neighbouring island of Lobos and your SUP session will take place in the local lagoons!
